New Jersey AIHA Meeting
Brent Altemose, CIH, CSP, of SABRE Health &
Safety presented at the New Jersey American
Industrial Hygiene Assocation (NJ AIHA)
breakfast meeting on January 15, 2009.
His talk, "Evaluation of Control Branding
through Statistical Analysis of Exposure
Monitoring Data", described various methods
and rules of thumb for applying statistical
techniques to industrial hygiene monitoring
data, including choosing acceptance criteria
and applying, Bayesian statistics. Mr
Altemose is currently working on a PhD
dissertation regarding to the application of
these statistical methods to evaluate the
effectiveness of control banding systems,
such as those used in the pharamaceutical
industry.
